Richard Taylor is a luthier who builds and repairs guitars in Middle TN and Northern Alabama. He is deeply involved as a worship musician with New Life Christian Church in Linden and spends much of his time in the Dominican Republic, working with the poorest of the poor. Sherry Duncan has been singing since childhood. As a teen, she was lead singer for a local country band, winning several competitions and participating in various civic activities. For more than a decade she has dedicated her voice to the ministry of leading worship at New Life Christian Church in Linden, TN. She makes her home in Linden with her husband, and two young daughters.

“When I first heard Sherry’s voice, my jaw – literally – dropped open! Her strong, gorgeous voice blew me away,” says Kathy Dumont, owner of the Commodore Hotel & Café. “I had known her a while, and had no idea that beautiful gift was inside her.”

When you hear Sherry and Richard, their songs will soothe your soul and melt away your cares from the week. Sherry & Richard are frequent performers at the Commodore Hotel & Café in Linden, TN. By the way, they use money they make performing – to help their church (you see why I think they are angels?). They play a mix of Soft Rock, Familiar tunes from decades past, like “It’s a Wonderful World”, Gospel and Country.
