When six-foot-four-inch Lee Gibson takes the stage he brings it every time. His songs speak of real Country life, love lost and found, pleasure and pains from the past and the present, and of course, a good drinkin’ song or two – things to which most people can relate. His voice, even though it’s bona fide country, is powerful and clear. He’s been compared to the likes of Dwight Yoakam & Ronnie Dunn by industry & fans alike. THAT is some good company to be in. Influenced greatly by many artists such as Dwight, Radney Foster, & Ronnie Dunn he kept on writing alone and with several Nashville songwriters. With the continual honing of his vocal and songwriting skills, those days are starting to pay off. He has been fortunate enough to perform with such greats such as Randy Houser, George Jones, T. Graham Brown, & Darryl Worley. He’s no stranger to a crowd regardless the size. Now he's preparing for performance dates from NY to Texas. With the impending release of his sophomore CD, you can hear an amalgamation of all of his influences, yet there is still uniqueness about his songwriting and his sound. There is a familiarity and newness in every song on this CD. There is love and heartbreak. There is happiness and despair. There is the jovial and the serious. When you hear the songs you are hooked. When you come to a Lee Gibson show you get to experience all of this in one sitting - though you won't be sitting long.
