POSTPONED FOR SAFETY OF RIDERS AND HORSES TO MAY 19 The first weekend of each month is a Celebration at Milky Way Farm! May 4th & 5th are an old fashioned celebration of horses and music at this great American farm of candy legend Frank Mars. The festivities have been moved inside the manor house due to storms. The Maury Magic Riders with the obstacle courses have re-scheduled for two weeks from now. This Saturday – There will be tours and stories of the 20 bedroom manor house and historic farm, music of local favorite Maggie Lee, Chicken and biscuits, homemade kettle corn, fried pies, and sweet tea. Drawings and Prizes. If the weather allows, we will run the hayrides to the historic sites. $5 adults, $3 under 10 Sunday 1pm until 4pm the festivities move to the horse track. $5 for adults, $3 for children under 10 for an afternoon of old fashioned picnicking, horse races, Route 55 BBQ and The Carl Johnson Blue Grass Band. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Parking is free or tailgate center ring for $25. Spend a weekend in the country at this great American Farm.
