150th Anniversary Reenactment of the Battle at Chickamauga

Sponsored by the Blue and Gray Alliance, City of Chickamauga and Walker County Tourism Association, there will be two battles on Saturday (10am/Cavalry Battle around Crawfish Springs & 4pm/Battle for Vinard Farm) and one battle on Sunday (2pm/Longstreet’s Breakthrough, Snodgrass Hill). Activities include living history demonstrations, sutlers, tent encampments, a military hospital and period and modern food vendors. Hear the sound of thunder as over 10,000 Union and Confederate reenactors, with artillery cannons and the Cavalry, confront each other just like they did in September 1863. Online tickets are $10 for a one-day ticket and $15 for a two-day ticket. Tickets include free parking near the reenactment.
