Mark Bright is one of the most successful record producers or executives working in Nashville today. In 2005 he was called to work with a new artist, Carrie Underwood, the winner of the recent season of American Idol. The hugely successful album that resilted, Some Hearts, was named Billboard’s Country Album of the Decade. Bright went on to produce Underwood’s next three albums, all of which have been certified multi-platinum and garnered numerous ACM, CMA, and Grammy awards. Bright has also produced records for Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Lonestar, Jo Dee Messina, and Scotty McCreery. As a publisher - at EMI Publishing, Teracel, and Word Entertainment - Bright has overseen the catalogs of hit songwriters such as Brett James, Marcus Hummon, and .
