"Perspectives on the Civil War in West Tennessee" combines scholarly perspectives and interpretative programs to provide new insights into the unique experience of living during the Civil War in West Tennessee. This program is part of a series of events commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Collierville. Weekend-long programming includes performances by professional storyteller Judith Black, local Civil War walking tours, and the temporary exhibition, Common People in Uncommon Times from the Tennessee State Museum on view at the Morton Museum through October 26, 2013.
