You'll marvel at how much fun you'll have at the Tennessee State Fair! Agricultural exhibits, midway rides, Tennessee two-crust apple pie contest, ice cream eating contest and much more! Except for a four-year span during World War II, the Tennessee State Fair has been a source of delight for families and fun lovers since 1906. The tradition transports people back to the roots of an agricultural society when life was simple. Here's your chance to revisit that experience. Among the smiles, you'll enjoy an ice-cream eating contest, pigs flying, all kinds of music and food. See some of the highlights below: 

Taste of Tennessee Craft Brewers Festival--The Tennessee State Fair and the members of the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild invite you to the inaugural Taste of Tennessee Craft Brewers Festival from 7 – 11pm on Friday, September 6. The brewers festival will take place on the infield of the Fairgrounds Speedway and showcases beer brewed from all over the state of Tennessee.  


Wrestling--The opening night of the fair, Traditional Championship Wrestling will bring live professional wrestling back to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Sports Arena. Tickets are available at the Tennessee State Fair Association office and Edge Fitness in Goodlettsville.   


Live Music--Highlights include Bluegrass greats The Grascals performance on Thursday, September 13 and the "Rock Night" performance of Lynch Mob on Friday, September 14. 


Nashville Rollergirls and Jr. Rollergirls--The Nashville Rollergirls and Jr. Rollergirls make their way to the fair this year on Sunday, September 8th. Advance tickets are on sale at Tennessee State Fair Association office and Edge Fitness. Price start at $10 and include admission to the fair.
