Reservations are now being taken to view the new quilt squares on the expanded Upper Cumberland Quilt Trail in Smith County. Conducted in conjunction with the beautiful fall season, this tour includes stops for lunch, shopping, history, antiques and a final stop at Ms. Jennie Bell’s Tea Room. It will be a photographer’s delight! The tour will start at 8:30 AM on Friday, October 25th at the Putnam County Ag Center, 900 S. Walnut Avenue, Cookeville, TN. Tour will return around 4:30 p.m. View beautiful settings and quilt squares and shop in downtown Carthage where you will find antiques, thrift stores, and the Smith County Museum. Later, enjoy lunch in the small town of Pleasant Shade, tour Dixona, the oldest house in Middle Tennessee, see more antiques during a stop at the Tennessee Antique Mall housed in the old Hickman Bank and General Store. Then make a final stop for lemonade and cookies at Ms. Jennie Bell’s Tea Room where the final quilt square is viewed. This jam packed day is only $42 with a meat & 3 lunch included.
