Sept.14, 11:30 a.m. Chip Taylor has penned major pop hits such as “Angel of the Morning” (Merrilee Rush, Juice Newton); “I Can’t Let Go” (The Hollies, Linda Ronstadt); "Try (Just a Little Bit Harder)" (Janis Joplin); and “Wild Thing” (the Troggs). His country credits include "He Sits at Your Table" (Willie Nelson); "Son of a Rotten Gambler"(Anne Murray); and “Sweet Dream Woman" (Waylon Jennings). For the past fifteen years, Taylor has toured and released a dozen albums as a solo artist, as well as duet records with Carrie Rodriguez.
