Cove Lake Hosts 4th Annual Knap-in and Primitive Skills Festival

Flint Knapping is the shaping of fracture stones such as flint, chert and obsidian into arrowheads, knives, etc. Demonstrations include bow making, flint knapping, pottery, cordage, fire making and more. There is a $15 vendor’s fee for the weekend. The festival runs from 9 a.m. until sunset on Friday and Saturday and until noon on Sunday. The festival is held in the C Loop section of the campground, is free and open to the public. For more information call 423-566-9701.
