Summer Season
The Three Rivers Rambler begins its eighth season showcasing East Tennessee’s unique history and beauty. Guests aboard the excursion train will enjoy a 90-minute trip along the Tennessee River. The train departs from downtown Knoxville and journeys past historical sites, local businesses, and scenic countryside during the 11-mile ride.
The train consists of a fully restored 1925 steam locomotive, two coach cars, a merchandise car, an open air car, and a red caboose. The caboose is a favorite for birthday parties and family reunions. Our most unique gift for railroad fans is a one of a kind trip in the cab of the steam engine.
