Parade of Treens
Decorating trees and wreaths of varying sizes that will lend a festive setting to the family holiday event before they are sold to benefit Girls Inc. of Oak Ridge. The Parade of Trees will feature trees in four sizes. Designers for the 7-foot trees are Price Florist, Eye Center of Oak Ridge, International Association of Administrative Professionals, K-25 Federal Credit Union, and Information International Associates, Inc. Those decorating 4-foot trees are TnBank of Oak Ridge, K-25 Federal Credit Union, and Clark's Copy Service. Proceeds from the Parade of Trees and the Nov. 18 Parade of Trees Gala will benefit Girls Inc. of Oak Ridge, formerly known as the Girls Club, which has served girls of the region for 30 years with after school programs, summer camps, educational programs developed at the national level, and recreational sports programs.
