Pumpkintown: A Festival of History, Harvest & Heritage
The streets around the stately courthouse square will be lined with a variety of wares for sale, quaint shops, delicious BBQ and plenty of other food choices to provide a great day for the entire family. Children's activities such as pony rides, hay rides, face-painting and craft projects will amuse the little ones and have parents snapping photos. There will be two stages of musical entertainment, a historical walking tour, heirloom crafts demonstrations and more.
The Pumpkintown Gazette, the festival's keepsake, will contain not only the current year's entries in the recipe contest but many historical photos, interesting facts, maps and the day's event schedule. The winners of the Recipe, Pumpkin, and Scarecrow contests will be announced and awarded at the Courthouse Stage.
