Leipers Fork Chili Cook-Off
As the gates open at noon and folks begin sampling chili, Tommy Crain & The Crosstown Allstars will begin the afternoon’s entertainment in the middle of the village’s shop area with their blues-inspired, southern rock.
Crain is a resident of Franklin who performed with and wrote hit music for the Charlie Daniels Band some 20 years. He is a GRAMMY award winner for "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." The band will perform until 2 p.m. when it will be followed by the Franklin band The Boomers.
With Jazz in the Fork is being reformatted for another time, MiSquared Productions has handled the change in line-up and venue by securing The Boomers to round out the day’s entertainment.
