Camp Carnton Makes History Fun for Kids
With summer rapidly approaching, Historic Carnton Plantation will once again host "Camp Carnton" the week of June 16th to the 22nd of 2008. Campers will relive life as it was during the 1800's which includes learning junior docent training, examining artifacts, interacting with civil war re-enactors, taking a trolley ride to civil war sites, participating in 19th century crafts and games, exploring surrounding battlefield and Confederate Cemetary and much, much more! Admission charge. Reservations required.
