Celebration of Nations
Taste ethnic foods, enjoy international music and shop for unique crafts, all in one evening 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, on the O’More College of Design campus, 423 South Margin St. in Franklin.
The first annual “Celebration of Nations,” an evening open-air market, is sponsored by O’More and Sister Cities of Franklin & Williamson County. Attendance is free.
More than 20 cultural booths representing India, Japan, Ethiopia and other countries will offer ethnic food and display art, jewelry and other wares of various cultures. In addition to sampling cuisines and buying art and crafts, visitors can learn origami and get henna tattoos. Performers will mingle with the crowd throughout the evening.
