WAR OF THE WORLDS: Radio Play
An example of mass hysteria, this staged reading of the infamous Mercury Theatre 1938 radio broadcast is one of the earliest and best-known depictions of an alien invasion of Earth and caused public outcry as many listeners believed that an actual Martian invasion was in progress. This production is presented in TheOtherSpace, upstairs at the Roxy.
WAR OF THE WORLDS runs two nights only: Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1, at 6pm. Tickets are $10 and general admission.
