BELLE MEADE PLANTATION’S CHRISTMAS – “VISION OF SUGARPLUMS”: THE HOLIDAYS WITH THE JACKSON CHILDREN
The Belle Meade Mansion will be set for a Victorian’s children’s holiday party throughout the 2008 holiday season. A large tree will be at the rear of the hall decorated with ornaments made by the children. The parlors will be set with various games for the children including bobbing for apples, bag-and-sticks, and charades. The library will feature a fortune teller with books of ghost stories. The dining room will be set for a dessert reception: cakes, pies, tarts, and cookies will be on the table along with party hats and favors for the children.
