"Human Nature" Exhibit
Our exhibiting artists study the relationship between man and nature. The mixed-media figures of Nancy Kubale-Wicker take the viewer on a spiritual journey into human emotion and behavior. Intrigued by what we think and do, her sculptures use metaphors such as ladders, windows, nails, and tags to express notions of epiphany, ambiguity, and aspiration. Painter Lori Putnam just returned from a seven-month painting tour of Italy. Her work strives to share her experiences by capturing the magic of the moment. Artist Bill Suttles devotes himself to painting the things that stimulate and intrigue him. From his home in the north Georgia mountains, he finds this inspiration in the effects of weather, the landscape, and the moods and attitudes of the people.
