Ben Sollee to Appear at the Knoxville Botanical Garden

The concert will take place outdoors on the Garden’s Stone Terrace. Ben’s unique performance experience and creative vision trump his 24 years and traditional classical training; he is poised to emerge as a solo artist, bridging genres and demographics with earnest and dynamic songwriting. Named on of NPR’s “Top Ten Unknown Artists of the Year” in 2007, his distinctive cello technique and soulful voice have been marinating for years in his work with avant-garde bluesman Otis Taylor, The Sparrow Quartet, (featuring banjo-master Béla Fleck), and on the internationally known Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour.

Tickets are available for $20 plus applicable fees to Garden Members and $25 plus applicable fees to the general public.

VIP tickets are $40 and include a pre-show reception with wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres, meet & greet and photo opportunity with Ben Sollee, and access to a premium seating area directly in front of the stage.
