27th Annual Polly Crockett Festival
The festival this year is anticipating over 90 vendors specializing in arts & crafts. The This & That Marketplace welcomes vendors with commercial products. The festival kicks off at noon of Friday. Friday evening at 7:00 (doors open at 6:00) “Little Texas” will perform a full concert at Monterey Station. Live entertainment will be performing on Polly’s Stage & Davy’s Stage during the three day event. Polly’s Stage is featuring local talent. Davy’s Stage will be hosting a karaoke contest on Friday afternoon & Saturday evening. Bluegrass music will be featured throughout the festival with “Slim Pickins” headlining on Saturday afternoon on Davy’s Stage. Saturday kicks off with the “world’s largest motorcycle ride,” The Trail of Tears traveling through Cowan. The day continues with the Crockett Wine & Art Show at Monterey Station. The Volunteer Saloon opens at 12:00 noon for college football, the Crocketeer Parade “Honoring Franklin County Volunteers” is set to travel down Cumberland Avenue at 4:30PM just before Polly’s Saturday Night Supper. Crockett’s Roadhouse Restaurant will be cooking dinner for the Polly’s Supper. There will be special play zones for the kids, the festival has Davys’ Adventure Zone, Polly’s Play Park FREE for kids 5 and under, petting zoo, horse & buggy rides and the National Guard will be back with the climbing wall.
