Ghouls at Grassmere at the Nashville Zoo
Ghouls at Grassmere is back with “merry not scary” fun for the whole family. Due to popular demand we have added two more nights of ghoulish fun: October 16-18, October 23-25, and again on October 29-30 (Ghouls is NOT open Halloween night). The event runs from 5-9 pm each evening. The Zoo will close at 4 pm and reopen at 5 pm for the festivities.
Ghouls at Grassmere is designed to appeal to families with children under 12 years of age. The event features trick-or-treating at themed treat stations situated throughout the park as well as animal shows, activities, games and more. Don’t miss one of Ghoul’s most popular attractions, the Haunted Hayride with quite a few "tricks and treats" of its own. This journey offers guests a tractor ride down the Zoo’s back road decorated with Halloween displays, lights and effects.
Also, boogie down at our costumed Monster Mash to shake your "ghoul" thing, take a spin on the Scary-go-Round, get lost in the Gypsy Mystery Maze, play some ghoulish games at Carn-Evil, or wander up to the Grassmere Historic Home for a tour to learn about the dying traditions and superstitions of the 1800s. Whatever you do...come dressed in your best and show off your costume in the children's costume parade held each night!
