TNT Dulcimer Trio to Perform at Blount County Public Library

Since October, 2006, the T. N. T. (The Nameless Trio)
have produced three CDs and fourteen tablature packages (more on the way) that offer tunes, many of them original ones, in multiple parts for standard, G-tuned, bass and baritone dulcimers.
The threesome thoroughly enjoy their time together, with a practice session every week and monthly weekend slumber parties, composed of much music and very little sleep!
T.N.T., composed of Ginny Cliett, Linda Smith, and Deby Libby, will perform a dulcimer concert, using multiple dulcimers, at the Blount County Public Library on Monday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m.
Music presented for the concert will include familiar fiddle tune medleys, some “twisted” medleys, original compositions, fast and slow tempos, and a variety of styles and dulcimer types. The T.N.T. trio believe that a tune becomes very interesting when each is playing a variation of the melody and/or changing the keys of the tune. Many of their arrangements are original.
The play list for the concert includes these tunes:

1. Crazy Name Medley: Medley arranged by TNT. Cumberland Mountain Deer Chase
(arr. Tull Glazener)/Nail That Catfish To A Tree (c Steve Rosin)/Flop Eared Mule (arr. TNT)

2. Twisted: Traditional Fiddle Tunes with a TNT Twist. Sugar Hill, Mississippi
Sawyer, Spotted Pony & Gray Cat on a Tennessee Farm

13. Fiddle Tune Medley: Medley arranged by TNT. Sugar Hill, Susanna Gal, The Happy Dance
