One Saturday per month, please check website for schedule...................Bluegrass Underground is a radio show recorded live 333 feet below ground at Cumberland Caverns inside a natural amphitheater, the Volcano Room.  Here water and time entwined 3.5 million years ago to create one of the most acoustically pure natural spaces on earth.  The primordial silence and perpetual darkness give way each month to the sounds of some of the finest musicians on earth.  Regardless of outside temperature, the Volcano Room is a constant 56 degrees.  Always a stellar lineup, previous artists have included Mountain Heart, The Steeldrivers, John Cowan, Tim O'Brien, Ricky Skaggs, Darrell Scott, and more.  Show begins at 1:00pm, so it makes a perfect day trip, approximately 90 minutes from Nashville.  Concessions available.  All ages welcome. GROUPS WELCOME-group discounts available.
