One of an elite group of highly charged down-home old-time music and dance competitions, the 34th Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days festival is set to kick off July 8th-10th, at Cannonsburgh Village in historic Murfreesboro, Tennessee. A purse of more than $15,000 is at stake during Friday and Saturday's Uncle Dave Macon Days competitions. The fun starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 8th; 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 9th and 12 p.m. on Sunday, July 10th. There is an admission charge of $5 per day, or both Friday and Saturday is $8. No charge for children 12 and younger. No charge for Sunday's Gospel Music showcase. Free and paid parking is available.
