Celebrate the birth of our nation with vendors, food and music leading up to a fabulous fireworks display. The Festival on the Fourth promises once again to deliver a wide variety of family fun including entertainment, activities and treats at the City of Knoxville’s Fourth of July celebration. Throughout the day festival goers will be treated to good music, good food, good fun and good times on the South and North lawns of the Worlds' Fair Park. Starting at 8:00 p.m., the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra (KSO) will begin the Independence Day Concert on the World’s Fair Park’s South Lawn. The two-hour show features the KSO performing a mix of patriotic and Americana pieces. Fireworks start at 9:35 p.m. and will be launched from the Henley Street Bridge. The fireworks display can be easily seen from the World's Fair Park and even from boat locations at Volunteer Landing.
