Battlefields & Forts
Stand where more than 23,000 soldiers lost their lives, in Shiloh National Military Park. Take a tour of Forts Donelson and Henry, each of which proved incredibly helpful to the Union cause. A stop at Fort Loudon introduces you to the first British settlement in Tennessee, while Chickamauga National Military Park represents the last major confederate victory of the Civil War. Visit one or all of Tennessee's battlefields and forts while gaining a new understanding of the events that helped shape the state and the country.
