Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies Welcomes 15 Millionth Visitor

Ryan DeSear, general manager, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, the Best family, Commissioner Susan Whitaker. On Tuesday, August 7^th, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies welcomed its 15 millionth visitor. Craig and Jennifer Best of Lascassas, Tennessee, son Conner and daughter Kaleigh were honored with several gifts, a luncheon and a special show by the brand-new Ripley’s Live Mermaids. The staff and special guest, Commissioner Susan Whitaker of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, helped commemorate this momentous event.
