Historic Theaters

Tennessee’s many beautiful historic theaters, many of them recently refurbished, are spectacular venues for any occasion.

Whether it is a play at the ornate and fabulous Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee’s state theater, a concert at Memphis’ historic 1928 Orpheum Theatre or a show at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, the venue alone will no doubt make the occasion feel magical. The Levitt Shell in Memphis is a historic outdoor venue that offers free concerts. It was the site of Elvis’ first paid performance. Many small towns in Tennessee boast beautiful historic theaters as well.
