Café 4 is a full-service restaurant/bakery/coffee bar located in the Historic Market Square district of downtown Knoxville. The restaurant offers a full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, served 7 days a week. Café 4 specializes in moderately priced "comfort" food with a “global” flair based upon time-honored recipes from around the world. Our in-house bakery features “beaux desserts pour un” which translates to desserts for one. Finally, the coffee bar includes a casual inviting mezzanine loft allowing patrons to visit often while inviting the community to enjoy a “Third Place” of comfort, relaxation, conversation, and even complimentary WiFi. Café 4 is also the gateway to the premier performance venue, The Square Room.

“Community” is at the heart of our mission. At Café 4 we endeavor to be responsible, locally and globally, by reducing waste, composting, recycling, employing biodegradable packaging when possible,and joining the efforts of our community’s like-minded businesses to do our part in being good citizens of the Earth. We care about the products we use, where they come from, support our local farmers, and strive to bring organic products to the table whenever possible. Each one of us is part of a team preparing delicious food, providing impeccable service, and creating a dining experience for each guest that is one of enjoyment, comfort, and satisfaction.
