Chattanooga Grotto

The Chattanooga Grotto is a formally chartered internal organization and chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and a member of the Southeastern Regional Association (SERA). Most Chattanooga Grotto members are active TAG cavers. TAG is caver slang for "Tennessee Alabama Georgia", an area blessed with thousands of caves and known around the world as a caving mecca.

The Chattanooga Grotto is run entirely by volunteers who donate their time to keeping things running. While all Grotto members participate, the Grotto Officers deserve special recognition for their consistent and continuing efforts.
