The arboretum is located on 130 acres in the East Brainerd neighborhood of Chattanooga. The trail identifies trees not only with their common and botanical names but also with their Cherokee Indian names and uses. Audubon Acres is open daily to the public and offers the community a peaceful, quiet place to experience nature in the midst of heavy urbanization.
