Now open, Chet Atkins: Certified Guitar Player, Made possible through the generous support of The Gretsch Company with additional support provided by Great American Country Television Network runs through July 15, 2012. As an instrumentalist and recording artist, Atkins influenced generations of country, rock, and jazz guitarists with a smooth finger-picking style that earned him the nickname “Mr. Guitar.”

Opening March 23, 2012, The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and California Country exhibit, will examine the roots of West coast country and two influential pioneers of that sound.
