Old family friends, David Penrod and Matt Akin, love being outdoors. Both natives of Chapel Hill, Tenn., they grew up on the Duck River doing everything from fishing and boating to kayaking and canoeing. Their love for being on the water has allowed them to show others what the Duck River has to offer, and ultimately to establish Duck Canoe. Duck Canoe is turning two this year, and David and Matt are once again thrilled for the opening of canoe season. Good friends, great times, and warm weather are some of the best things in life. So, here's to our second year. We hope you all will come out and spend a little time on the water with us this year.
