From downtown gatlinburg, turn at lite #3 (rte 321), go one half mile to lite 1-A bearing right onto Roaring Fork Rd. Follow the creek and you will arrive at the mill in 7 tenths of a mile. The mill can also be reached by driving the Great Smoky Mtn National Park Roaring Fork Nature Trail (starts from lite #8, downtown Gatlinburg)
Historic Ely's Mill is one of the few "old gatlinburg" places still alive and well. same family since 1925. We have 2 cabins for rent, a craft/antique shop, weaving/spinning demonstrations, and now a wedding site by a waterfall or a great spot for group/senior photos. Old trucks/barns and such for wonderful photos. http://www.elysmill.com
