More than 34 acres of blossoms abound seasonally just four blocks from downtown Winchester. Stroll this professionally designed garden and admire the blooms of 5,000 daffodils, 1,500 knockout roses, 1,700 daylilies, 1,000 peonies, plus irises, butterfly bushes, ginkgo trees, river birches, DD Blanchard Magnolias, dogwoods, and hollies.
The vision of the gardens took life in 2003 under the careful eye of Harvey's son and daughter-in-law, Handly and Becky Templeton. The gardens are open every day and are free to the public. The gardens are a work in progress with many more additions, both in floral plantings and acreage to come.
