Historic Columbia Square is one of the state's oldest National Register historic districts featuring over 90 buildings 100 years old or older. Unique stores and antique shops line the courthouse square. Saturday mornings in season features a farmer's market. Located about 45 miles south of Nashville, TN, historic downtown Columbia, holds many treasures including the ancestral home of the eleventh president of the United States, James K. Polk.
