The Knoxville Convention Center captures the essence of this beautiful region in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. While you enjoy breathtaking scenery, the center’s staff will deliver great service and convenience in a technologically advanced facility. The Knoxville Convention Center, a half million square feet of space, reflects the alluring environment of the area. The spacious concourse designs present exquisite views of Knoxville and the delightfully landscaped World’s Fair Park. A natural theme reflecting the majesty of the mountains is carried throughout the interior design creating a calming atmosphere.
Knoxville Convention Center is easily accessible by car or air. Knoxville is located within a day’s drive of half the nation’s population and is centrally located between three major interstates (I-75, I-40 and I-81). McGhee Tyson Airport is 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville.
Downtown Knoxville has several parking garages, many around the Center. Parking is free in all city-owned garages (to include the Locust Street Garage) after 6 pm and on weekends. If you need parking for a person with disabilities, please contact the Center at 865-522-5669. The Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) provides free trolley service around downtown and local areas.
Northbound (from the airport): Take 129 North. Take ramp I-40 East (towards Asheville), stay in the right lane to Exit 388 onto 441 South (Henley St), drive to Henley Street. The Convention Center is on the right at the corner of Henley Street and Clinch Avenue.
Eastbound on I-40:
Take Exit 388 onto 441 South (Henley Street). The Convention Center is at the corner of Henley and Clinch Ave.
Southbound on I-275:
At the I-275/I-40 interchange, bear right onto 441 South (Henley Street). The Convention Center is on the right at the corner of Henley Street and Clinch Ave.
