This 1925 school provided education for African-American students from kindergarten through eighth grade until 1965. It was part of the Rosenwald School Building Program, an initiative that funded buildings constructed by and for African - Americans in the early 1900s. By the late 1920s, one in every five rural schools for African-American students in the South was a Rosenwald School. Tours arranged through Lincoln Alumni Community Historical Assoc.
