McMinn County Living Heritage Museum

Athens, TN

Thirty permanent exhibit areas depicting the history of McMinn County and Southeast Tennessee. Bi-monthly changing exhibits. One of the South's largest quilt shows in May and June. Annual Japanese Quilt Show in September and October. Call for exact dates. 

Directions: Take Exit 52 on I-75 (Mount Verd Rd) to Athens. Go 1.9 miles straight thru first traffic light. Cross U.S. Hwy. 11, stay on 305 into town, continue thru town on Washington St., it becomes Madison Ave. Museum is on the right.
