Off the square in Lynchburg rests Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House. Since 1908, this historic house has served traditional food with hospitality.

Don't worry when you walk up to the beautiful antebellum style mansion and feel like you should be wearing a hoop skirt or top hat--the atmosphere inside this former boarding house is casual and welcoming.

The house no longer accepts boarders, but it does serve one of the best lunches in middle Tennessee. Prepare for large, hearty portions of soul warming good ole Southern home cooking. Book your lunch far in advance. Miss Mary's is very popular.
