Music City Star is a contemporary commuter rail service  in the U.S., operating between Nashville and Lebanon, Tennessee, using the existing track of the Nashville and Eastern Railroad. Currently, the line has six stops including Riverfront Station, Donelson, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Martha and Lebanon.

The whole line covers 32 miles, and service began September 18, 2006. The Star was begun as a project to prove the effectiveness of commuter rail service to the metropolitan Nashville area. Six additional lines will convey passengers to Gallatin, Columbia, Murfreesboro, Dickson, Springfield and Clarksville, using the CSX Transportation railroad lines. All lines meet in central Nashville in a star formation, thus, the name "Music City Star."
