The park includes 48,000 acres of scenic woodlands including four lakes, a swimming beach, a 47-room resort inn and restaurant complex, a conference center with more than 3,000 sq. feet of meeting space in three conference rooms. Cabins, group lodge, camping areas, picnicking sites, playgrounds, a ball field, a regulation pistol firing range, hiking trails, a wrangler camp, miles of horse riding trails, a park store, and archery range. The TN Division of State Parks, Division of Forestry and the wildlife Resources Agency share administration of the facilities. Hunting: Natchez Trace State Forest is open to hunting. All statewide hunting laws apply. Areas closed to hunting include safety zones around the state park and fire tower. Archery and rifle ranges: Archery and firing ranges are located within the park.
