The makers of Pointer Brand Jeans are the L.C. King Manufacturing Company, who are celebrating 100 years of service to people around the country. They make only the best and most comfortable jeans around for everyday Americans. L.C. King Manufacturing Company in Bristol, Tennessee was opened in 1913 as a maker of jeans and overalls. What makes L.C. King so unusual is they are still in operation today. The company’s brand name, Pointer, was coined after a dog: Mr. King's birddog became the model for the company’s logo and advertising posters. The old sign still hangs in the factory, and the Pointer dog's likeness is on every pointer product. Designers from all over the world come to the makers of Pointer Brand, L.C. King Mfg. Co., to explore partnerships, or just to experience what it’s like in our factory. The worn wood, the vintage sewing machines, the knowhow. It’s all here, and it’s 100% authentic. You can find us in places from fashion boutiques in Hong Kong and Tokyo to co-op stores around the South.
