Restaurant Iris run by Chef Kelly English, who was born and bred in Southern Louisiana, favoring the culture and cuisine of New Orleans. English offers a rare dining experience by specializing in French-Creole cuisine using local and season ingredients. Memphis Magazine has labeled Restaurant Iris “Best Restaurant,” “Best Service” and “Best Chef.” Chef English puts his creativity and passion for food into each dish created, whether indulging in his Oysters three ways, a “Knuckle Sandwhich”, or a dessert, you will feel that each dish was made especially for you. Come experience Restaurant Iris, simplicity at its most chic.
The restaurant is located near the historic Overton Square of Midtown, in a space formerly occupied by La Tourelle, which has been a bastion for the culinary establishment of Memphis. We offer private rooms and the restaurant may be rented for private events.
Note: Due to limited capacity in the dining room, we provide limited online reservation availability. Contact the restaurant directly, for more information about availability.
