The UT Institute of Agriculture hosts an array of agritourism events across the state each year. There is "Blooms Days" in Knoxville and "Summer Celebration" in Jackson, which each attract thousands of garden enthusiasts annually. We assemble an autumn pumpkin display, which is the largest of its kind in the South (more than 5,000 pumpkins!). We host multiple heritage events in West TN. And we also offer free educational seminars for traditional and non-traditional ag audiences. Additionally, one of our facilities (Ames Plantation) is the home of the National Championship for Field-Trialing Bird Dogs.
