Halloween may formally ensue the final date of the month, but that doesn't stop Memphis from celebrating at the very start! Trick-or-treat across Tennessee throughout the month of October and enjoy what the fall season has to offer!

Pumpkin painting, horse rides, spooky food trucks, and zombie paintball overtake the recently renovated Shelby Farms Park on Friday and Saturday evenings of October. More than one mile of "scares" composes the only haunted trail in West Tennessee. The plethora of spooky activities are perfect for the entire family. Costumes are (always) encouraged.

An all-ages annual event benefiting Memphis' LeBonheur Children's Hospital, Zoo Boo now encompasses eight nights of fun throughout October, whether in the form of trick-or-treat stations, crafts, hayrides, or a Virtual Costume Contest.
Bring the whole family with picnic in tow to the grounds of the Memphis Botanic Garden, where games, activities, trick-or-treating, and food (for purchase) are served, followed by a viewing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "Monsters, Inc."

Open the entire month of October, the Mid-South Maze at the Agricenter is shaped into Memphis Grizzlies' Mike Conley's silhouette and offers haunted weekend experiences. Take a shot at escaping the maze, and don't forget to jump onto the hayrides for an even scarier ride!
