The King of Broken Hearts follows the unconventional, prolific career of Grammy Award-winning musician, singer, and songwriter Jim Lauderdale. The feature-length documentary tells Lauderdale’s story from his North Carolina roots to his immersion in the country music scenes in New York and Los Angeles, to breaking through in Nashville as a songwriter, writing hits for artists including George Strait, Gary Allan, Dixie Chicks, Vince Gill, and Patty Loveless. Jim Lauderdale and filmmaker Jeremy Dylan will be on hand to answer questions following the screening. Limited seating available.
