Learn more about 11th Annual Louie Bluie Music & Arts Festival.
Join us for the 11th annual Louie Bluie Music & Arts Festival, a free, day-long event featuring live music, a juried Craft Village, judged art & quilt show, Kids' Zone, food vendors and more. Howard "Loue Bluie" Armstrong is the legendary musician and artist who grew up in LaFollette, showing an early skill and passion for art and music. Armstrong was in the African-American string band Tennessee Chocolate Drops, whose tunes were recorded for the Knoxville Sessions in 1929. The Campbell Culture Coalition founded the festival to promote Howard's legacy and support youth arts in rural East Tennessee.
