Learn more about Strung Like A Horse.
It’s a Hometown Throwdown with Chattanooga’s own, Strung Like a Horse! And guess what!?! Strung got signed to their very first record deal with Transoceanic Records! In the world of bands, this is some pretty huge news. And in true fashion, SLAH wants nothing more than to celebrate with the raddest folks in the world right here at home!
“We owe everything to our hometown crowd. Without all the local support from day one we would never be in this kickass situation that we are in right now. We are proud of our little town, and we are throwing a celebration!”, Clay Maselle.
Having gained national attention over the past few years coupled with landing a record deal with Transoceanic, SLAH believes that the sky is the limit! This Punkish-Grassy-Americana dynamo have earned the opportunity of touring with some of the best out there including Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Sam Bush, Old Crow Medicine Show, and a load of other greats in-between. And in August they will be bringing their road show home for this special event and you don’t wanna miss it! Strung has been known to throw some of the rowdiest, rockin’, foot-stompin’ shows around!
Joining SLAH will be the 2018 Road to Nightfall winners, Hive Theory - fronted by the local singer/songwriter, Courtney Holder. In addition to playing Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival this year, Hive Theory will also be headlining the Nightfall Music Series in June. This exciting new pop/funk project is making some waves in our music scene, so get there early to catch this act!
We will be kicking off this special night with one of our hometown favorites, Lon Eldridge! His warm and infectious musicality is sure to get you primed and keep you tuned in for a rich night of music in Chattanooga. Lon’s shows are a blend of masterful fingerstyle guitar coupled with stylish and timeless vocals that takes the listener back in time. You'll swear there's more than one person playing on stage! Lon has toured both the USA and Europe, taking his unique blend of traditional pre-war blues, ragtime, and swing to new audiences near and far. This is a show (and a moustache) you definitely don't want to miss!
